As I’m mentally preparing myself to run my first half marathon in two weeks, I’m so glad to bring you some of my favorite workout routines. They may not be precisely prepare yourself for a half marathon material, but they are totally worth your time. Trust me.
1. Tone It Up.
All you need is a yoga mat and, at times, some dumbbells. I use wrist weights because that’s what I have at home, but you can use any of them.
This one is my favorite routine, but I actually mix it with others to workout more areas.
2. The Yoga Solution with Tara Stiles.
I’m no yoga expert and I’ve only been to a couple of classes, but if you don’t have the time to go to a class, here’s the solution. There are plenty of videos that go from relaxation to pain relief or strength. Again, all you need is a yoga mat and you’ll be ready to start!
3. Nike Training Club
In this app you choose goals according to your needs. A list pops up and then all you have to do is pick a routine and get started! You’ll need more training gear than in the others, but I’m guessing you can make some adjustments. There are also some routines that don’t need all that gear.
